Hi, I'm Cory.
I'm not a professional chef. I'm a husband and a father, and in our house I'm usually the one cooking dinner on a weeknight, and the one hosting Thanksgiving every November.
For a while now I've been working to become a faster, more confident cook. Like a lot of people, I found most of my recipes on Instagram, TikTok and food blogs, and they were scattered across saved posts, screenshots and browser tabs. Planning a week of meals meant piecing it all together by hand, and I rarely knew what was already in the pantry until I was standing in front of it.
Why I built Pantry to Pan
When our child was born, our weeknights got a lot busier. There was less time to hunt through saved posts for that one recipe, or to stand at the counter at 5pm wondering what to make. I needed my recipes in one place, ready the moment I wanted them, and quick ideas for dinner from what we already had.
So I built Pantry to Pan for our own kitchen: every recipe I want to cook, written out as clear steps, with a pantry that keeps itself up to date and help at the stove when I need it.
A few weeks in, it had replaced the subscription recipe app I had been paying for. It simply fit the way I cook better. That's when I decided to open it up, so other home cooks could use it in their kitchens too.
Why it costs what it does
Every recipe Pantry to Pan reads and every receipt it scans is processed by AI, and each one has a real cost. Rather than run ads or sell anyone's data (we do neither), I set each plan's price at roughly break-even for a household that uses every import and receipt read included in it. The Free plan is there so you can try it properly first, and I cover that cost myself.
Get in touch
I read every message. If something doesn't work the way you expect, or there's a feature that would make dinner easier at your house, tap Send feedback in the app's menu or email [email protected].
Thanks for giving it a try. I hope it makes your weeknights a little easier.
