Common questions

Is Pantry to Pan free? There's a Free plan with 10 recipe imports a month, no card needed. Plus ($4.99 a month) adds 40 imports and pantry tracking; Pro ($9.99 a month) adds 100 imports and "What can I make tonight?". Both start with a 14-day free trial: a card is needed, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and we remind you 3 days before. See pricing.

How do I cancel? In the app, open Settings and tap Manage subscription. You keep your plan until the end of what you've paid for. If you're in a free trial, cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.

I forgot to cancel my trial. See the refund policy and email us.

A recipe came out wrong. Recipes are read by AI and it can make mistakes. Fix anything on the recipe itself, and check anything marked (est.). Tell us with Send feedback, in the app's menu, so we can improve it. How we use AI.

An Instagram reel won't import. Private accounts and deleted posts can't be read. If you can see the recipe in the caption, copy the caption and paste it as text instead.

My iPhone asks for a code. Apps on the iPhone Home Screen don't share Safari's sign-in. Type the 6-digit code Safari shows you, once.

Timers don't ring when my phone is locked. Turn on Settings → Timer alarms on the lock screen, then Send a test. On iPhone, the app must be on your Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or newer).

Can I get my data out, or delete my account? Yes, both in Settings → Your account: Download my data and Delete my account. Deleting also cancels any subscription.

Do you sell my data or show ads? No, never. See the privacy policy.

Accessibility

We want Pantry to Pan to work for everyone. It's built from standard buttons and labels so phone screen readers can use it, it has light and dark modes, and Cook mode can read steps aloud and listen for "next" so you don't need to touch the screen. If something is hard to use, tell us at [email protected] and we'll work on it.

Copyright and creators

Pantry to Pan keeps every saved recipe linked to its source, and the app is for people's own cooking, not for republishing other people's work. If you believe something in Pantry to Pan infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: the content, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you're the owner or authorized to act for them.
